Health and Safety

The health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors and partners is at the forefront as we plan for the 2022 Pacific Dental Conference. It is our top priority to ensure the conference is organized in accordance with the current public health guidelines.

We are working closely with the Vancouver Convention Centre and Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) to make certain that comprehensive safety measures are in place and will be updated as necessary.

To avoid congestion, manage attendee capacity and to facilitate contact tracing we have implemented a pre-registration system. Pre-registration will be required for all sessions at the 2022 conference. Conference registration opens on Monday, November 15, 2021, and session pre-registration will be available later in December.

In accordance with the Provincial Health Officer's order effective September 13, 2021 all conference participants (attendees, exhibitors and event staff) will be required to provide proof of vaccination when entering a conference venue. While this order is scheduled to expire prior to the conference the organizing group has made the decision to extend it to cover the conference dates March 10-12, 2022.

Below are the safety measures currently in place at the Vancouver Convention Centre. This list will be updated as required prior to the conference.
