The Pacific Dental Conference (PDC) strongly encourages all attendees to do a self health check prior to travelling to the conference held at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Any public space where people are gathering holds an inherent risk of exposure to communicable diseases, including Covid-19.
We advise all attendees, exhibitors, speakers and staff to take necessary precautions while at the PDC, including travelling to and from the conference. All participants will be expected to follow Provincial Health orders, regulations and guidance. At this time there are no restrictions on gatherings and although masking is not mandatory we do encourage bringing a mask, they will also be made available on-site. Guidance does include staying home if you are not feeling well. If the Provincial Health Orders or guidance change, all participants will be notified by email.
In an effort to keep yourself and all attendees, exhibitors, speakers and staff safe, if you find that you feel unwell or develop flu or cold like symptoms, please DO NOT attend the conference. We know that it may be disappointing to have to stay home due to illness but if you wish to request a registration refund, you will be able to do so starting March 3, 2023.
To request a registration refund on or after March 3rd, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and include your full name and contact details. Refunds will be processed after the conference. Your unused conference badge must be returned to the PDC office prior to registration fees being returned. Refunds will be processed to the method of the original payment.
Much has changed since the onset of the pandemic in Canada in March 2020, and PDC has embraced the opportunity to adapt and evolve. Along with strictly adhering to all Provincial Health Orders, some of those changes include:
On behalf of the PDC Organizing Group and the PDC Staff team, we hope you have an excellent conference and look forward to welcoming you back!
